Since most of you are female and seem to care about The Wrong Shoes, I present the following:
(I’m holding a sleeping kid so i just stuck my foot up in the air)
Cute, huh? Black, suede. Two of my favorite features in a shoe: contrast stitching, and a bow. Love that. These shoes were never The Wrong Shoes before I had Seth-4mth, but now my feet don’t fit in them quite the same. My sister has the identical shoes in red suede.
They remind us of these, and that cracks us up to no end. Ah, the vintage Barbie shoe.
In other news, does anyone know how to get ink off ‘flat’ no gloss paint (I’ve tried hairspray and multitask spray cleaners), or purple marker off the bathroom cabinet? (tried several cleaners including those strong smelling, orange ‘goo gone’ kinds)
Apparently, Ethan-5yr’s bathroom needs numerous reminders as to the identity of its non-flusher.
By all means, click on the shoe to see all its cuteness close up. It seems Ethan-5yr at least chose to use his best handwriting. I’m glad, since it might stay there for, well, FOREVER.)

oh, I like those shoes! Your right… get all women on one subject and agree…. its good shoes!
As for the signatures… sorry.. no clue.
2:22 pm
Your right - that is some more good handwriting!
As far as shoes, Ahh I have a fetish. Are there really any wrong shoes. Even if they just look good in the closet. My daughters are my fashion consultants and they are smart enough to choose shoes THEY like in the event that said shoes become wrong –for me!
2:22 pm
four kids AND you shave your legs? i don’t have any - and i haven’t shaved in ages!
2:43 pm
I’m with Christina…I’m just too lazy to shave in winter…LOL!
And I know they make some product to get old marker off of walls, but for the life of me, I can’t remember it. If I do, I’ll come back and tell you. (Real helpful, huh? LOL)
3:01 pm
hehe great shoes!!! Crazy how your feet change when you have kids?!?!
chelle
3:20 pm
Have you tried the Mr Clean magic eraser?
3:57 pm
I’m w/ Jeana, the Mr Clean thing has worked w/ my niece’s escapades!
As for the shoes, I vote them very cute! I just bought a new pair of shoes yesterday! Such a nice feeling!! (Yeah, its the little things!!)
4:19 pm
Yes, the Magic Eraser.
But be careful not to scrub too hard.
The shoes are so very cute.
5:19 pm
No touch-up paint stashed in the garage? I hear that Mr. Clean stuff works, but have never tried it.
All my shoes are “comfortable” ones. When you have feet the size of log trucks, you look weird in cute shoes. I had to make a choice.
6:26 pm
ROFL! I have a non-flushing DS, too.
7:03 pm
Ditto on the Magic Eraser. I was just told this by two people. Also, I have found that sometimes (depending on the surface) Windex takes marker and ink off.
You women who skip shaving are my heros. I have to shave every stinking day just or else I feel grose! I’m in a vicious cycle I guess! Ha!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the shoes. I had a few pair that just never fit the same after #4.
8:06 pm
The Mr. Clean Magic eraser is god send!! I use it on everything and I mean everything. Maddie had colored with a red crayon stick on her light pink walls about 2 years ago and I never got it all the way off(ya know there was a big red smudge there for 2 years) until….Mr. Clean’s magic eraser, it’s totally gone!!! I love the shoes too:) Isn’t it funny how things grow when you are pregnant and the really important parts like the cute shoe wearing parts never are the same??LOL
8:30 pm
Those shoes are too cute. I hate it when pregnancy ruins a perfectly good shoe!
I also say magic eraser. That thing is awesome! Or you could just get him to write his name all over the walls and call it a ‘wall treatment’.
8:41 pm
Try nail polish remover.
8:41 pm
I used to wear a size 8-1/2 shoe. Now, after 6 children (which includes a twin pregnancy) –I am comfortable in a 9-1/2.
Fortunately, shoe makers are taking pity on amazon feet such as mine and variety is better than ever.
If the Magic Eraser doesn’t work — try Simple Green.
9:33 pm
Love the shoes! The contrast stitching just makes them. I always loved my Barbie shoes and longed for the day when I could wear shoes like that – assuming, of course, that they would stay on better than Barbie’s did. I could never get the darn things to stay on her feet. Now I can’t wear them anyway because my feet are too fat. Oh well.
I’ve never tried Magic Eraser on a wall, but it is truly amazing on floors! If it doesn’t work for you, I’d suggest doing what I do. Paint over it.
10:06 pm
OH….those shoes…try Magic Eraser on the writing….It’s gotten marks off that have been there for years in my house…can’t figure out how it works…but who cares…it works. And I’ve tried it on walls, furniture, floors, etc. Walmart or grocery store with Mr. Clean on the wrapper
9:13 pm
I ran here to the comments to say Mr. Clean Eraser but not fast enough I see.
Love the shoes, can I borrow them?
1:42 am
MR. CLEAN! MR. CLEAN! MR. CLEAN! He rocks!! And, now they have the Extra Power Eraser pads out. I’m actually going to blog about them this weekend. They are the best thing since slice bread! They remove EVERYTHING! Be careful though…sometimes they can take paint off the walls if you scrub too long! Good Luck!
11:13 pm
You make me laugh
Great blog.
Have you ever picked up any of the holymama gear?

Great blog and kudos to all who use Magic Eraser. It removed purple marker from louvered folding closet doors in our house after JD Green decided to do a “treatment” in his room.
