The strangest thing happened. I saw on Busymom’s site that she’s a judge for Everyday Hogwash. So I went to see what it was about, decided I could totally do that, and voila! Whipped up that little post about jeans. It took ten minutes?
And today? An email saying I’d won a daily contest and $200, and if I win the weekly contest it will be another $1000. Um, WHAT? Since when is my ten minutes of writing possibly worth $200, or $1200? I write with the hopes of being a published novelist one day, and it doesn’t pay anywhere near that well! (Just one more, since, you know, this paragraph can’t have too many question marks?)
So, odd as it is, voting lasts Wednesday through Friday. I have no idea if that is Wednesday as in tomorrow, or in next week. But, whatever. Will you consider going over there and reading the competition and casting a vote? Thanks.
Then, I hope you spend your next ten minutes coming up with your own rant of pseudo brilliance, because the going rate for that kind of stuff seems to be kinda high!

How on earth do they make that kind of money that they can pay 200 dollars a day and a thousand a week? I have to check this site out.
I’m happy you won, though. The jeans post was win worthy.
