Chocolate by 10 a.m. Guaranteed.

I’m a little embarrassed. It all started with Busymom. She asked about how to make brownies that tasted like some gourmet ones she was hooked on. And like, half the comments she received were from people singing the praises of Ghirardelli brownies from a box. Hmm.

So I looked for these. At TWO stores. And? Not in my town. Seriously. The BEST brownies, per Busymom’s readers, were not for sale locally. She so kindly pointed me to Amazon. And guess what?! (Here’s where I get embarrassed) When I ordered them, I didn’t have a ‘choose your shipping preference’ step of the check- out process. I wondered why not at the time. But just now, five boxes of brownies were delivered to my doorstep. Via Federal Express. Doesn’t that seem a little over the top? Usually if it’s FedEx, it’s business stuff for Mike and important. Tonight it was important and for me, and even better. Ghirardelli chocolate. I have some brownies to make, y’all!

See now, I have a slight problem with brownies in my house. The batter never seems to make it to the pan…

Oh my gosh, you’re going to LOOOOOOOOVE those. When I’m feeling particularly naughty & am at Costco, I’ll pick up one of their OMGBROWNIESFOREVER boxes that make like 4857345630847389 brownies. It’s like you died & went to chocolate heaven.

I got these last weekend for the first time because we were having company. I had no idea Ghirardelli made brownies in a box! They are so awesome, I didn’t want to share them with our guest. I considered shoving out a bowl of fruit for desert instead. ;-)

you made the right choice. those brownies are the best. love them. our local market sells them, but they are gone really fast. I usually grab a box everytime I go shopping, otherwise it might not be there next time.

I must admit, I had NO idea that you could order food from Amazon. Didn’t they start out as an online bookstore?

I’m not a chocolate fan myself, but if they’re really that good, I may have to pick some up for my hubby. When I bake chocolate for him he knows I reeeaaallly love him since I won’t eat it myself.

Enjoy your brownies!

You do know that the scientific name for Chocolate is Theos Cacao which means food of the gods. Now we have scientific proof that chocolate is divine, heavenly and a gift from God. MMMMMMM

Ooh, I might have to add this to my food diary. How many calories do I have to log for DREAMING about eating Ghirardelli brownies? How many Weight Watcher points would that be?

Well, you know, the shoes are on the other feet on the “changing the toilet paper roll” issue at the Muley house. It seems to be viewed as some sort of chore only enabled by the male gene.
