Ask and Ye Shall Receive

You know how here I said that if Mike were around there’d be more dirty laundry? Well, ask and watch how quickly it shows up! Seriously! So what if Mike is in the Caribbean? He MAILED HOME some DIRTY LAUNDRY, Y’ALL.

(Fortunately he addressed it to himself – not to me, who mighta thought she was getting a sweet little care package -  and he also remembered to say "don’t feel like you have to open it or anything…" pfft.)

Please see this brief post below. I’m trying to get this settled quickly, y’all, so work with me here.

If I got packages like that very often, I wouldn’t be so in love with my UPS man!

I am still laughing! I have heard of college students mailing laundry home, but this is even funnier!
Did you open it?

Cannot believe he did that! I think I might leave that one out in the garage until he returned : )

Now there’s a package I might leave unopened. How nice of him!

Ok, so what is he doing in the Caribbean without you? Did you open the package? Since he mailed it to himself, I think I would leave it for him. :)

Did he put some M&M’s in it? Or, are you having to replenish your own supply while he’s gone?

Keep it wrapped up for his return!

Now that is funny. It’s a dang good thing it wasn’t addressed to you. Men!

Too funny! Or, maybe, too sad???!!!! Geesh! Yet another thing a woman would NEVER do!

Love your sense of humor….and mercy!

He. Did. Not… That’s worse than calling you by your daughter’s name!!!

That reminds me about college. The first week in college, my mom sent me a package. What was in it? Towels. That’s it. Just towels. No note, no candy, no card. Just towels. I never received another package from her in college.

I will count my blessings that they were clean.

That’s quite amusing – I’d be bummed if my husband was gone long enough to have to mail the laundry home!

I’d be mean and pay $$ to have something fed-ex’d to him overnight with a package of dirty material, and by dirty I mean something hot, and sexy with a note that read, “I believe you’ve lost that lovin’ feelin’. Here’s what a REAL package of dirty laundry should be!”

k-bye

That is way too funny! So I’m curious, was it really cheaper to mail it home versus finding a laundry mat? Oh my goodness… I can’t stop laughing… (only because it could so easily have happened to ME!) :-)

I’m with Momrn2–considering what postage cost me at Christmas time, it’s hard to imagine that it was worth it to mail it home!

On another note, though, my dad–in the 50′s–used to send his dirty laundry home from college, by train, from Illinois to Ohio, every week, to his mom, who would wash it and send it back, by train, every week!

(And how many prepositions can I fit into one sentence and still make sense?!)

I didn’t know you accepted laundry through the mail! Do you return the close ironed and folded as well? If so, mine will be in the mail today! HaHaHa!!!

Aren’t there any laundrymats in the Carribean?
