The flowers arrived today. Yep, from Mike. He said they weren’t ‘guilt flowers’ but come on. Of course they are. But who cares?!
Mike doesn’t do anything halfway. I’ll do a pic thing soon, but what came to my door? THREE vases of flowers. All kinds.

so, i’m reading your blog while watching “head over heels” on USA with freddie prince jr. and eating a bowl of zatarin’s chicken jumbalaya and wishing my hubby felt guilty enough about something to send me an amazing bouquet of “i’m sorry, i’m a jerk, i was wrong, i love you” flowers. of course, he would never say all that, but that’s what i chose to believe he’s saying when i get flowers from him.

Ahhh..flowers, delivered! My hubby’s idea of giving me flowers is buying me a rose bush…at least the last time he helped me dig the hole in the ground! LOL. I hope they are beautiful, I look forward to a picture. And girl, of course they are guilt flowers, I am thinking you deserve earrings and a necklace too…vomiting children always happen when the hubby goes, why is that???!?! Enjoy them and hug on your returning vacationers.

I don’t know why it is, but it seems that when I most need to be at peace, I just have to wait for it to come. I know I have some control over it, but it’s often easier said than done.
