Introducing A Real Life Friend!

I’m so excited to do this! One of my friends - ahem. As in, I have more than one friend, barely, and this is one of ‘em - is  blogging. I’ve mentioned her before, but not that she was one of my Real Life Friends. But now I can.  Yea! It’s just like Blond Girl and the Geekwif - a relationship that always stirs up my envy!!

So….  (drumroll)

Heeeeeeere’s Yellow Mama! (Oooh, HolyMama and Yellow Mama, I love it!) Her blog is called One Step Up From Stupid, and you’ll adore it and her. Yellow Mama needs some reader insight on an issue so while you’re there, be sure to go down to the post entitled, "If you’re gray and you know it clap your hands." You’ll also get to see a  picture of her, and participate in an important poll regarding hair. What could be more important?!

Brownie points to anyone who visits, then comes back to this post right here and leaves a guess as to which celebrity she is often said to resemble.

(Incidentally, Yellow Mama and this other celebrity have fantastic senses of humor. hint. hint.)

Thanks for the referral…your real life friend…..looks like real-life fun!

I’d say…..looking at her grey hair photo…she resembles….the woman who played on Bewitch…what was her name………………………………………..O.K. enough dots…..I could dot (think) all over this page…and not remember…You know who I mean–don’t you?

I’ll have to take 2nd look to see if she resembles someone more contemporary, someone who is not on only reruns at 3:30 a.m!

Ooh, she does sort of look like Carol Burnett! I was going to say that comedienne, Rita something? Maybe Wilson?I think that’s her name–she smiles all the time and has a cute wide-eyed look and a smooth voice–and she once said that while she doesn’t have children, she really likes them, and admires their ability to sleep in public when they’re not even drunk.

I thought Carol Burnette too! I love my real-life blogging buddies. Of course I have to because they are my cousins, but they are also best friends of mine!

I say Carol Burnett, too. I didn’t have time to read much, but what I did read was great. Trying to cook supper, shower and get ready for Wednesday night prayer meeting. So, see what I’m doing? Reading HolyMama! and blogging instead! ;-)
Thanks for the heads up, Kelsey, and as soon as I get back from church I will go read more and comment on yellow mama’s blog. I have her bookmarked already. :-)

I just dont know who she looks like … don’t you love my honesty? I’m so bad at these games.

And I don’t think she should color … but I DO think she should highlight.

Definitely Carol Burnett, but the facial expression does have a bit of Elizabeth Montgomery. My kids love watching her on TVLand. How fun to meet one of your real life friends! I’ll check her out more at length on a later visit.

My first thought was Carol Burnette (my all time favorite comedienne, BTW).

No brownie points for me, I’m afraid. I found her site via another blog, and I can’t remember whose. :(

That would be Carol Burnett of course! Thanks for introducing her. She’s like the perfect cross between hilarious and inspirational. Love it!

Oh, and my opinion is that she’d look lovely in gray.

I’m SO bad at this kind of thing because I don’t notice facial features (that’s an entirely different discussion). But here’s my guess: Rita Rudner?

I’m voting for Carol Burnett, and for letting the gray show.
But that is mostly because I decided highlighting is too expensive, and I’d rather spend the money on grandkids and chocolate, than highlighted hair.
