And I’m right here. Yea! Mike’s been out of town for a week, but right now I have almost a full hour ALL TO MYSELF. Yes, I’ve already had the thrill of the much mommy coveted Solo Pee, and now I’m off to ebay, but first a quick request:
Do any of you have computer keyboards (particularly sony vaio laptop users out there) that have these keys on the lower left corner:
Ctrl
Windows flag key thing
Fn
Alt
If so, and these keys are all to the left of the space bar, could you please leave a comment telling me in which order those 4 little jewels should sit? Thank you. My darling Seth-8mth has an amazing ability to snap off handfuls of keys with just one or two quick little grabs. And the letters’ placement are easy to figure out, but this last bunch, well, not so much.

4:32 pm
Not 100% sure but on most keyboards, Ctrl, Windows, Alt are pretty standard order for the lower left. Never seen a Fn key before.
Hope this helps

LOL..I agree with Patrick on that order, and I as well have never seen the other key….what kind of keyboard do you have?
I envy the alone time in the bathroom…I can’t tell you the last time I was able to shower without someone screaming to join me, fighting in the bathroom, or whining for a drink.
5:29 pm
On my dell laptop it is CTRL, Fn, Windows, then Alt. Hope that helps. Enjoy your time.
6:40 pm
Oh HolyMama, my youngest is ten and I still long for the coveted Solo Pee! So rare, so rare.
9:00 pm
Solo pee? What’s that? I have a vague recollection of such a thing, before kids, but I just can’t recall…
I have a Microsoft keyboard, and it’s CTRL, start (with the window thingy), Alt, then the space bar.
9:40 pm
My laptop is a hp… the keys go from left to right ctrl, fn, windows flag, alt…
Hope this helps!
9:53 pm

HolyMama, thanks so much for visiting my blog and offering your prayer and words of support. They mean so much to me and truly brightened my day
I do feel a lot of joy about this pregnancy but based on past experience am remaining cautious for now.
In answer to your keyboard question, mine only has three: Control, a windows key, and the alt key in that order. I hope you can get your keyboard back together!
And how are you liking that Kristen Billerbeck book? I read the Ashley Stockingdale series and quite enjoyed it
Have a nice weekend!

ctrl, fn, windows flag thingy, alt.
L to R.
hopefully your 45 minutes of alone time wasn’t too disrupted by this little discovery!
1:26 pm
no clue, sorry I got a Mac!
2:45 pm
Can’t help ya with the computer, but hope you enjoyed your time alone!
11:15 pm
Your post spoke louder than words! I’m sure by now your keys are in order. Thank you for the great visual and attendant giggle!
3:21 pm
i see you have plenty of advice on key order… but i have a similar problem- only it was my dog who didn’t wait for an invitation to jump on my lap- and he sent 6 keys flying! So what’s the secret? I managed to snap on most of them, but 2 are just not happening. It seems the little rubber thingys (circles) are not attached either.
Any suggestions?
thanks!

Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron/1100 and I have a Ctrl Fn and Alt key on the left hand side of my space bar. I am not sure about the Window Flag Key, at least, I am not sure where it is, I see some kind of kiey in the top right hand corner that I have no idea what it does. This is my hubby’s computer but I use it for my “Pretty in Pink” Woman’s Ministry which can be found at http://prettyinpinkwomansministry.blogspot.com Check it out sometime.
In Him…By His Grace Alone,
