A Spittin’ Good Time

So, life is not one big laugh with HolySister, it just seems like it. Or maybe it is. Yeah, I think it is actually.

We head into my bedroom, where I blog via laptop on the bed. HolySister asked if I’d posted lately and I said, "Nah. Kinda a light blog week."

She answered, "That’s ok. It’s a heavy HolySister week."

Pause. We look at one another, and then she says, "Ok. Let’s not EVER use that phrase again."

We nod, agreeing it sounded awful. I pop a handful of delicious DARK chocolate m&ms in my mouth, and savor each glorious one. Mmmm.

Then HolySister says, "That kinda made me sound like a Mack Truck or something."

For who knows what reason (but her timing was comedically  perfect), I laughed and spewed chewed up dark chocolate m&ms down my black shirt and all over my arms. I’m snorting, spitting, and HolySister is trying to catch her breath from her own laughing in order to tell me that I have drooled blue m&m  spit (with dark chocolate chunks) straight down my chin. It was disgusting and hilarious, and I am a moron. Oh, the laughing. It hurts my abs and stains my chin.

And I haven’t even told you about the toast. Oh! The toast! Ha!!

I love my brothers, but wish I had a sister! Considering my parents’ ages (75/67), I seriously doubt that’s a possibility. Anyhoo, sounds like a snortin’ good time “y’all” had.

This is such a nice post to read – it makes me laugh too :-)
Laughter is something we should really appreciate, because a laughter makes all the difference in the world sometimes. I`m thankful for my family & friends who makes me laugh!

I think I need a HolySister in my life. No one has ever made me laugh so hard I drooled M&Ms. Oh, wait. That’s because I don’t eat M&Ms. Silly me. I love the sore gut kind of laughing.

I’m still anxiously awaiting the toast and the shoes!

It’s so great how you a holysister get along so wonderfully! My sis and I are not close at all. It’s sad really. We call each other every once in a while and email occasionally. She’s my only sister…maybe someday, who knows. Now that I’ve brought you down….lol. Glad you’re having such a great time!!!

Hi, Just writing to let you know how much I enjoy catching up on your latest laughs and snorts. It’s not as much fun as being there with the two of you but I love knowing how much you enjoy each other’s company. It still amazes me that you are the same sisters who used to make the most amazing faces at each other to see who could be the scariest. Why don’t you share a couple of those faces with us – just pick up that handy camera phone!
Love, Mom

I LOVE dark chocolate m&ms and last summer after I finished my first bag I went to buy more and couldn’t find them ANYWHERE! I was shocked and horrified. A few months later I saw some little bags at a CVS and bought all of them. I hid them of course, and hope to find some more soon…
Where do you find them?

You two are almost dangerous together! You probably shouldn’t put small items in your mouth when you’re together. Send the rest of the m&m’s my way, okay?

There is nothing better than a good laugh. Except a good laugh that involves “Sund-ee” pie or M&M’s. You two are awesome.
