Just wanted to add something. My mom was someone who God healed by welcoming her into heaven after a very short and hard battle with Inflammatory BC. While I completely believe that God does heal people~often to the astonishment of the docs~many times that is not how He choose to work. My mom was one of those people. I would encourage everyone to pray that God's will is does and He is glorified in all. It was very hurtful for my mom when she wasn't one of those "healed" She felt like people questioned her faith and it made her question also. "Why not me?" So while storied of healing are inspirational and we all should be testifing to God's power, please remember that they can also hurt. Let me encourage you that God is still in the healing business. We have a lady at our church who has gone through breast cancer amongst several other life threatening medical conditions. Each time God has miraculously healed her. So far she has cancelled several no longer needed surgeries including a lung transplant and a complete mastectomy. I believe he will do no less for these two ladies than he did for her. Will pray til I hear different. I will most certainly pray. Let me encourage you that God is still in the healing business. I firmly believe that prayer changes things! "Heavenly Father, I just want to thank you. Thank you for using Kelsey to remind us to take time out to care for our bodies. Lord, I think back to all the times that I have had a scare with my health or my loved ones.. Lord I know that you can give these two women a peace in their hearts, mind and soul as they wait for their doctors tests. Lord I ask that you give their doctors wisdom beyond their years and schooling that the very hand of God guide them. Lord, you are a healing God, your stripes were not in vain. I ask for healing, revealing, and drawing... Draw them closer to you Lord.. Let them know that they can find rest in You. I ask all these things in the most precious name of Jesus. Amen." You know... my mom was diagnosed with bone cancer not too long ago... she had MRI and bone scan done and they found in both 3 masses.. Pelvic bone, femur, 7th rib Her dad died of bone cancer, mom of lung.. so cancer ran in the family... My mom and I prayed.. we knew that God would somehow get the Glory out of this terrible time... Well He did.... because a big time specialist, called totally shocked.. on the 4 or 5 test they ran.. so ran another.. all those Masses... were now air pockets (in the bone) Is our God good or what? Now those airpockets are even completely gone. LOL ~ they still are scratching their heads... the pain in my moms hip that led her to the doctor in the first place is gone too.. You know it!
