According to my new friend, the online random number generator, Karla is our winner! YEA! I actually know Karla in the real, nonvirtual version of my life.

I’ve taken the last days to write, so I was surprised to see the comments and prayers going on here. Thanks to all of you. I checked bluepaintred’s site and (hello? she’s crazy funny. did y’all know that?) I think the preliminary report is that everything is okay. I emailed just now, but haven’t heard for sure.

Jodi, would you keep us updated on Telesa, please?

I’m signing off again, where blogs and ebay cannot beckon me away from writing. Just lately, I’ve found that Bocelli in the background is fantastic. I’m not distracted by the words, since I don’t understand Italian anyway, but the romantic vibe comes through loud and clear.

Ah, yes…Andrea Bocelli is gifted by God with that voice. So clear. So effortless. I’ve been known to weep over its beauty.

Sure…here is the update on Telesa. Tests have shown the cancer has not spread into her lymph nodes. Praise God! She is having a Bilateral Mastecomy on Feb 26 with breast reconstruction over the next 6 months. She hopes to be 99% cancer free by August 1st. There is still a chance she may need chemo, but we are praying against that.

Telesa had a mammogram less than 6 months ago that showed NOTHING. She found a lump during a self exam. What you are doing to remind women to do theirs is a great thing! Keep up the good work!

Oooh! I can’t wait to horde those truffles ALL TO MYSELF! I did promise 9 year old Lauren that she could “borrow” the lip gloss ring every now and then. The only time I’ll probably get to enjoy it is right after I receive it in the mail. LOL

When I write, I just have the same song play over and over again ad nauseum (my spell check says that’s the wrong spelling, but won’t give me the right one…oh well). That way the words don’t distract me. It’s a different song for different scenes. Sometimes I listen to the Titanic soundtrack…it’s mostly instrumental and so powerful…dome is very violent and some are very sad…so I use those for sad scenes. I like Dvorák’s New World Symphony too. Different moods, you know? Glad you’re writing. You go, girl!
