More ‘Girls’

I’m wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, still in workout wear from kickboxing and watching the tivo-ed American Idol. Which brings about just one question.  Is anyone else concerned about Kimberley Locke’s ‘girls?’ Whoah.

Put. them. away. please.

“Girls” is really hard to use in this context. I tried.  It comes so easily to lots of you, but it’s just not feeling right.  I think Jeana calls it  “extra boobage.” LaLa uses the phrase “busty substance.” Either of those work.

In any case, the entire nation could have done her BSE for her.

And I’m still crying because my man Chickeze (spelling???) got bumped off the show! I could certainly listen to him sing while drinking a glass of wine and having a romantic dinner with my hubby.

I would have to agree with you on the “girls” reference to K. Locke’s bustline. I’m ROFL at “busty substance!” In this case the old saying, “If you’ve got it flaunt it” does not apply!!! :0)

Yeah, I have to agree with you. It’s many more syllables but it just feels more natural to refer to ‘busty substance’ than ‘the girls’ given our history with the name. Btw, J-Mom is SO amused by this.

I missed AI so I cannot comment on the “boobage” situation.

But, I thought it was funny that you mentioned being wrapped in a blanket . . ” etc because, here I am, wrapped in my own fuzzy blanket fresh from my own workout (treadmill and elliptical) while reading your blog! And watching past LOST episodes. Gotta catch up on all the important stuff!

I have never for the life of me understood this trend in Hollywood dressing. Those babies looked like they were straining to break free. They looked like they were experiencing a mammogram.

Lol…there was a collective gasp in our home when she came on stage. Teen Girl thought she could sing better if she could breathe…
