Experiencing Minor Technical Difficulties

I don’t really know what’s going on there with that last post and then you click comments and you go to the archive for august instead…. very strange. Geekwif emailed about it this morning and  suggested it was that the original title was 15 and not Fifteen but that didn’t fix it so… Huh. I think I’ll just not worry about it.

That post made me laugh so hard! I can totally relate to you freaking out. My husband likes surprises and I hate them. We have had way too many times of me completely flipping out and I think he’s finally gotten the idea. I totally have a hard time biting my tongue and probably would have gagged, too. Men are just so different than women! Thank you for making me feel completely normal today!

That was really a sweet gesture on his part – several sweet gestures, actually. And I have to agree with you; as much fun as it would be to pick out a diamond ring, if offered the choice between a diamond or a lawn tractor – well, that would be a really tough decision. (And yes, lawn tractors CAN be cute!) We already have a lawn tractor, but if my Geek parked a “real” tractor on my front lawn with a big red bow for my birthday, or anniversary, or whatever, I would be in seventh heaven!!

And as for the pretty items that don’t fit? Well, now you get to go shopping at VS for free!! Can’t beat that.

I will admit, the sushi for breakfast was a little weird, but at least he’s trying, right?

Have you defraged lately? You might just have too much stuff going on in there…

I had a malware virus once that made things go haywire. Not too expensive to fix with your local computer guy.

Or maybe it will fix itself by magic… my number one choice! : )

We are just the opposite–Wick hates surprises, and I love them. We have had a number of similar situations, although I am the one who feels unappreciated, and he is the one taken aback by my idea of a surprises. He does try to surprised me, though, because he knows I like it, but I do take care to tell daughter and son what kinds of surprises I would like to get ;)

Stacey,
that made you feel normal, hmm? Why does that make me laugh?

Geekwif,
I knew you’d understand, farmergirl! Yep. VERY sweet. As were the sea salt brownies from Trader Joe’s that came home from the latest business trip. YUM.

Linda,
you claim not to be tech-y and look at that sentence? So impressive!

Jan,
Would LOVE to read about Wick surprises. Blog? : )

On Fifteen:
1) Congrats! We’re a year behind you come November.
2) I can SO relate to the gift giving fiasco scenarios. Love him tons but he is the WORST at gift giving.
3) He usually looks at me for 2 months saying “when’s our anniversary?” (Uh, easy. 11-22. Who forgets that?) Then does the grab at the grocery store on the way home from work that day. I hate that.

Have fun on your trip!
