more of a retro square yellow post-it than a blog post. but eh. it’s fine.

hey… can you see this?

one of you please leave a comment so i know you can, please. i was playing with the password protection part and alarmed folks. sorry, folks.

it was a good week not to write. and now it’s a good week to write.

i will. soon.

but it’s a gorgeous afternoon and i have to clean a catbox and work on the closet. i’ve been holding off taking over any of mike’s drawers in the bathroom or closet. out of a sense of… i don’t know. but whatever it was, it’s gone. and i’m finally ready to claim the drawer space.

but i’ll write soon and tell you all  my shooting news. because OH YES, i shot stuff, be very afraid.

(why were those post-its always yellow? i mean, for like FIFTEEN years or so they were always yellow?)

Read loud and clear. Post-its now come in all crazy colors, sizes and shapes. I don’t think I’ve had the old yellow ones in years.

Google and wikipedia can tell you almost anything “The yellow colour was chosen by accident; a lab next-door to the Post-it team had scrap yellow paper, which the team initially used.[9]“

Also, yellow is high visibility; some fire stations have yellow trucks instead of red.

And it’s easier to read writing on a light yellow background than some other colors. (Which I suspect is why most people choose a yellow highlighter over other colors.)
The newer colors are fun though. Don’t tell anyone, but I’m a little partial to the neon colored mini post-it notes myself. :)

So glad to see you’re back. I was a little concerned this morning. And I can’t wait to hear about the shooting!

Finally. I was worried that your accident prone nature had led to …. well, something worrisome. Accident prone and guns can be a scary combo. Glad to see I worried in vain.

Fun! I haven’t been shooting in forever. The part about the bluebonnets reminds me of a Nancy Griffith song I haven’t heard in ages.
